Looking into the “Economy of Giving”
Prof. Ma. Belinda S. Mandigma along with Asst. Prof. Corazon Regacho, Asst. Prof. Franz Cortez, and Mr. Jommar de Guzman presented their research on the “Economy of Giving in Simbahayan Community Program” which is a Chartered Institute of Management Accountant funded project. The qualitative research studied the benefits given by the Simbahayan program to their partner communities/institution and the motives of giving of the stakeholders within the University. Attendees of the presentation were the RCCESI director, Clarence M. Batan, certified public accountants, economists, ethics professors, psychologist and other faculty members of the College of Commerce and Business Administration and its dean, Asst. Prof. Mary Hildence M. Baluyot.
