Affirmation and Becoming

In this RCCESI e-news issue 8, I highlight the recent work of our fellow research associate, Paulo Bolaños, an expert in the field of Philosophy extraordinaire! Over the number of years, he led UST’s Department of Philosophy with practical vision to truly making his discipline what it has come to be a Center of Excellence with a CHEDrecognized academic journal, KRITIKE, as its venue for academic articulations. I AFFIRM the publication of Paolo’s work by Cambridge Scholars Publishing as a testament to the maturity of Philosophy discipline in our university. Let this be an inspiration to us all in the RCCESI as we, in the other disciplines, strive to BECOME what Philosophy achieved in the last few remarkable years.
