DEAR FELLOW RCCESI RESEARCHERS:

Mapagpalang araw po.

It gives me great pleasure to inform you that after much thought and reflection, I accepted the Rector’s appointment to be your Director from June 1, 2015 ­ May 31, 2016.

I accept this honored task with humility and fervor to facilitate what would be the last year of the RCCESI as a research center. With the plan of re­establishing RCCESI as two centers, one for “Culture, Arts and Humanities”, and the other for the “Social Sciences”, I will serve as “interim director”. The specific plans and strategies on how we shall implement our respective research projects would be the subject matter of our planning session this year. Details will be posted soon.

In the meantime, I shall be formalizing the assignment of research loads with your respective Deans based on the assessment of your Cluster Heads as guided by our former director, Dr. Arlen A. Ancheta.

Also, please take time to fill up the attached “Accomplishment Report Form” due on June 15, 2015, Monday. This will be collated by Ms. Billie for the Office of Vice Rector for Research and Innovation (OVRRI) as inputs for the Rector’s report.
