The International Research Conference on Higher Education
(IRCHE 2015)!
The International Research Conference on Higher Education 2015 (IRCHE 2015) with the theme “Social Capital and Innovation: Bridging the Knowledge Gap for International Competitiveness” is a four-day, biennial activity initiated and organized by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in partnership with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) and the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC).
The Conference will be held on December 2-5, 2015 at the Travelers Hotel and Convention Center, Subic Bay Freeport, Olongapo City is follow up through activity from the successful research conferences organized by the University in 2011 and 2013. With the overwhelming response of research enthusiasts from universities, industries and agencies, the University felt accountable to lead once again in showcasing worthy intellectual exploration in higher education in four (4) equally significant research program areas, namely:
- Science, Engineering, and Technology
- Education and Institutional Research
- Business and Finance
- Humanities, Social Science and Communication
This year’s event will be participated in by faculty members, graduate students, and research enthusiasts from various universities, colleges, and public and private research organizations, institutions and industries both local and foreign.
In addition to the keynote speeches, plenary sessions and paper presentations, the conference will highlight the awarding of best research papers and best research presentations in the four streams of the conference.
Submitted research papers for oral or poster presentation shall undergo a blind peer review process by the International and National Scientific Committee which is composed of a pool of disciplinal experts. Selected research papers will be published in the following CHED accredited journals:
- Science and Technology Journal
- Social Science Review
- Education Review
- Mabini Review
There will be a Conference Banquet on the first night of the conference while a tour at the Subic Bay Freeport area will be organized on the last day of the event.
